Why do I have to pay a $35.00 editor registration fee and 50% of my commissions to EditAvenue.com?

Approximately 90% of EditAvenue revenue is reinvested into marketing and administrative services. These substantial expenditures on our part allow us to aggressively promote you to potential clients.

Am I guaranteed a certain level of income?

You are not guaranteed a level of income. However, you are guaranteed that thousands of potential clients will read your qualifications. It is up to you to convince these clients that you are the right editor for the job. If your qualifications are not impressive or if you receive poor client ratings or if you are unable to build a repeat client base it is likely that you will not become a successful EditAvenue editor.

How do clients select editors?

Clients select their own editor from a sorted directory organized by average client rating and number of pages edited. The greater average client rating and number of pages edited an editor achieves, the higher the editor is ranked which, in turn, increases that particular editor's transaction volume.

To assist clients in making informed decisions concerning editor selection, EditAvenue displays each editor's average client rating, client rating distribution, reviews of past editing jobs, price discounts, number of pages edited, self-description, credentials, and credential confirmations.

How do I know if clients are reacting positively to my campaign?

Editors have access to campaign statistics reports updated in real time, which allows them to understand how potential clients are reacting to their posted qualifications and provides advice if their campaigns are under performing relative to their competition and rank.

When am I paid?

EditAvenue commission payments are sent once a month. You can access the current status of your payment through your Editor Control Panel.

What is EditAvenue.com?

EditAvenue.com is an online platform for document editing commerce. The system manages a geographically distributed group of consultants who, in response to client requests submitted through the website, quasi-independently perform editing services. All trade and communications between editors and clients are performed and regulated within the system. An administrative staff monitors each transaction and intervenes if editors violate their contractual obligations to their clients or if clients/editors encounter technical problems.
